EXAMPLE WINNING SCENARIO:
We win $250,000, 50 people bought in, we split $250,000 – tax cut / 50. We will be doing a lump payout, and we will use some of the funds to have a lawyer do the divvy process, to try and levvy as much tax saving as we can. I am thinking I take the tax cut (Minnesota), and say we’re an anonymous group of friends who won. I will then divide it up how you like … I can mail a check, cash, MO, etc, will let the lawyer make the decision for us. We have options, but like I said, let’s not worry about it until we win 🙂

Friday 7/15 update: Won $5 which will be saved until final drawing to purchase one last MegaMillions round
As promised, I e-mailed scans of the current draw MM tickets to Vivi. It’s pointless to number them since we’re drawing the same numbers every time but there are ways to distinguish current from previous tickets.
Here’s a little guide on how to read the tickets:
Top “Original” references the original tickets serial number. Everytime “winnings” are collected, the ticket is considered claimed and can no longer be played. So a new ticket is re-issued, the very top references the previous ticket. Because the tickets are so long, I believe it cutoff the original serial number which is displayed at the top center. After every drawing after claiming our “winnings” I keep the old tickets for our records. After the final draw, I’ll rescan ALL tickets just to be extra cautious and thorough to ensure all winnings are claimed.
Bottom, first date shown is current tickets next draw date
The date after that is the last drawing date (August 09)
Below that shows the number of draws remaining which is 7 as of today (Saturday 7/16)
Printed on should be self-explanatory
Summary:
$34 total winnings as of now
$12 reserved to purchase future MM tickets after final draw

Tuesday 7/19 update: Won $8 purchased 10 PowerBall tickets ($20) and used proceeds from previous $12 winnings. I e-mailed a pic of the ticket (before the drawing) to Vivi which he’ll upload and post here. Current PowerBall jackpot is $361 million with drawing today, here’s the ATOT thread for PowerBall.

Congrats on your winnings, I also won a little. I bought a few scratch its and won $20 and $15 on $3 and $5 tickets and a few weren’t winners. I decided to call it a day and pocket my winnings, no big purchases planned anytime soon. OK maybe a celebratory burrito bowl at Chipotle.
Tuesday 7/26 update: Won $9 on MegaMillions
A few weeks ago I offered to throw $100 into the pot as a good will gesture for 7 Eleven’s screw up. With the PowerBall jackpot so high (estimated $422 million) I decided to buy $100 PB tickets today, I made it within 5 minutes of the deadline.
I have 5 separate .jpg files that I’d like to merge into a single 5 page file, what’s the EASIEST way to do this without Photoshop, etc.? Looking for a simple, quick and easy solution.
